Commemoration of Remembrance Day in the Netherlands May 4 and Liberation Day May 5.

NASO members and their guests are invited to attend the Sunday Service at the Church of the Covenant located on the campus of Case Western Reserve University on Sunday, May 6 to observe:
Remembrance Day and Liberation Day in the Netherlands. An all-Dutch Music Program will be played on the MCGaffin Carillon by George Leggiero, the Carillonneur, before and after the church service.
The McGaffin Carillon was built in the Netherlands by the Royal Eijbouts Bell Factory in Asten, Noord Brabant, in the Netherlands. It is one of about 200 cast bell carillons in North America.
It has 47 bronze bells which together weigh about 20,000 pounds. It was installed in the Church Bell Tower in June 1968. Visitors can climb the tower and see how the carillon is played and how it works.

9:45 AM until Church Service: Carillon Music
10 AM to 11 AM: Church Service
11 to 11:30 AM: Dutch Music Program on the McGaffin Carillon.
Meet on the front lawn. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
Again, there will be opportunity to climb inside the tower and see the carillon in action.
